Skirts were known as petticoats. They were oftern worn in layers. This added to warmth and layers could be reversed to give a different look. The top layer could also be tucked up, into the waist, at the sides, to form a useful pocket. Each side is open to allow access to detached pockets, worn underneath.( sold separately.) The skirts on this petticoat pleat into a waist band, and tapes are used to tie the skirt.

To wear: Step into the skirt, lift the back skirt up and bring the tapes, from the back section , to the front  of your waist and tie. Next lift the front skirt up and wrap the tapes around your back, cross over, and tie at the front. Tuck tapes in. The back skirt will come slightly forward at the waist, causing a overlap, each side. This makes the waist very adjustable.

Length is a standard 38" but can be shortened to required length, on request.
